My mom talks a lot. When you talk a lot, you are bound to make mistakes and fumble. And if this is rumor, fact, hear say is wrong, be sure to answer in your grave. I guess all mom have this trait no exception to my mom.
I’m so frustrated because I was forced to back to my home town. Nothing much of urgency really, just my feverish grandma but mom made a great fuss about it, as if my grand ma is at the tip of an ice berg. I hate to say this to her, but I really hate change of plan, even worst, last minute plan.
Just because my wife isn’t around, doesn’t mean I get to be pushed around. I have weddings to attend, market survey to do, web projects, side income, web cam with my wife and most importantly, loads of rest! I usually lump this to my weekend. But hey, I can’t do that, according to her, I have to go back kampung no matter what.
I know for a fact that I’d be the pilot for the drive back. Which is a terrible deal, because mom will yap about my late braking, change lane and doing 160kmh and more, all the time. Ma, I got my license 11 years ago. I’ve driven your car to the market when I was 15. So please, save me from the boring lecture. I don’t take speed and life for granted.
I think it’s just bad parenting when you ask your kids who are grown up to do things they don’t want to. Even worst if you still yap about unnecessary things. I hope mom stops that pretty soon.
An ustaz once told me, your kids will treat you exactly like the way you treated them.
So ladies, if you have kids now or one day, don’t yap your way through their ears. One day, they’ll stop listening and you’ll realized what you said makes no sense.
