By now most of us have known how insanely popular the movie Hunger Games has become. Katniss Everdeen has certainly "proved" to the world that women can do what their masculine counterparts can, or even better. I had personally watched the movie twice and it has really amazed me. I might write a review about the movie which was adapted from Suzanne Collins's novel, but for now I wanna share with you guys one of the OST for the movie, which was sung by and co-written by Taylor Swift-Safe & Sound.

I was surprised to know that Taylor Swift was involved in one of the sound tracks for the movie. I have never expected Swift to be able to belt out such an inspiring song. After listening to Safe & Sound, I can't help but feel that the wounds inside of me are being "healed". It's like I can feel my soul is being taken care of...it is safe and sound. This song has certainly ranked itself as one of Taylor Swift's most heartening ballads.

Safe & Sound has shown us the other side of Taylor Swift; One that is willing to step out in its very own "skin". After listening to it again and again, I notice how ethereal Safe & Sound is. It's like the song can bring you to a place blooming with serenity-where you can breathe the fresh air and calm yourself down. The duo from The Civil Wars, layered the whole song with their equally mesmerizing vocals, giving Safe & Sound more depth.

Besides, don't you think Taylor Swift looks stunningly gorgeous in this Safe & Sound MTV? I must say that Swift, clad in the long white gown, looked enchantingly beautiful...even though she has to walk barefoot through a forest. The MTV was being shot in Watertown, Tenessee, which looks peacefully picturesque. And ouh yeah...there is this scene where Taylor is sitting on a grave right? It is a real grave belongs to a couple from 1853. Ha :D

So what do you feel after listening to Safe & Sound? Apart from the ravishing Swift, don't you feel the whole MTV was meticulously shot? Don't you agree that it is a bit eerie but beautiful at the same time? I love the scenes in the MTV...the forest, the river, the cottage...everything looked so calm and peaceful. Taylor Swift's captivating voice breathe life into the whole song. Making it more real, more moving and certainly safer and sounder. :)
