..let’s take a short break from my Mount Rinjani post. Once again I present you with Ms Wilhelmina Clarabelle Tambung McMillan of Sarawak…

Ms Wilhelmina Clarabelle Tambung McMillan of Sarawak, Borneo. Shot by Ted Adnan with a Canon 5D Mk2 with a Sigma 50mm f1.4 lens in falling light and strobe with a Made in China™ portable battery operated studio strobe thru a brolly at (probably quarter power from Full)…
A very simple lighting set up. Gears and shooting info as follow:
Canon 5D Mk2 with a 50mm f1.4 Sigma lens
ISO400 exposure: 4 (yesh, that a full FOUR) second @ f/8 (now that really makes one wonder, if one shoots f/8 almost 99% of the time, why lah bother with a f1.4 lens ya? Mind boggling really…)
Made in China™ portable battery operated studio strobe (at probably 1/4 power from Full).
Triggered with a pair of Pocket Wizard PW Plus 2 (IMHO, an expensive piece of plastic. If the Phottix Atlas comes out earlier I bought them a dozen ady, but then again the Atlas is a knock off of the PW so there, and besides, when I got the PW the Atlas wasn’t around either *shrugs* ) radio trigger.
Anyway, in a nutshell, YOU, (yes, I do mean _YOU_!) can also shoot like this oso yo!
